God has been so good to us, we just want to praise Him in song and scripture, through our preaching, through the arts, through our gifts, and with all our might. You’ll find the atmosphere uplifting, informal and inviting. It’s a family celebration, where everyone present is part of the family. Come join us!
Celebrate with Music
Our music is lively and upbeat. We clap, we sing, some of us even raise our hands. Our worship team, which is comprised of worship leaders and a choir live that has a sound that is contemporary with an “urban” flair. Our songs and media are all part of a worship experience that is designed to draw you closer to God. In our music, we strive to be relevant to the culture while remaining true to God’s Word.
Celebrate with God’s Word
The preaching and teaching at the Faith First House of Hope is simple enough to understand, yet powerful enough to change lives. Whether you are new to the church scene, have church experience, or are a Bible scholar, you will be enlightened, engaged and challenged by the Word of God at the Faith First House of Hope. Digging deep into the Word, we use straight talk and don’t pull punches. We believe God speaks to His people today through scripture, the same way He’s done for millennia. Thus, we prefer substance over style. The goal of our preaching team is to transform how you think and how you live, and, in the process, to glorify God.
Celebrate with Generosity
We believe that when we give our time, talents and treasures to the Lord, it is worship! Therefore, we celebrate generosity! We don’t get uptight about money because we understand that God owns it all (Psalm 24:1) and we are merely managers of His resources. Money is just one of the tools God has given us to help further His Kingdom. To that end, our offering time is very celebratory. We get excited about giving to God’s work! We encourage the principle of honoring God with our tithes and offerings, but we don’t brow-beat people about money. We understand that God loves a cheerful giver!
Celebrate a New Life
At the Faith First House of Hope we boldly invite people to be followers of Christ. After hearing the Word, some commit their lives to Christ for the first time. Others re-dedicate their lives. Many decide to make the Faith First House of Hope their church home, and some are simply challenged in the way they think or live. There are various ways to let us know about a decision you’ve made spiritually. You can come forward during an invitation from one of our speakers. You can fill out a comment card. You can meet briefly with a follow-up team member for prayer, or you can contact us on line. Our job is to help encourage, equip and empower you in your new life in Christ.
